Horace Matthews is Chief Information Officer at WorldVision, an Evangelical Christian humanitarian aid, development, and advocacy organization. WorldVision is known for its child sponsorship which helps needy children and in turn their families and communities.

Horace talks about how his Christian faith has influenced his career path, the way he guides his organization in using technology, and how he champions diversity and inclusion, especially for the next generation of Black technologists. He says "Diversity is being asked to the dance while inclusion is being asked to dance. And then I like to say that equity is being asked to the dance to dance to any song. We can dance to any song."

"My job is what I get paid to do. My work is why I'm here, what I've been put on this earth to do. It's really drawing on my faith roots to be able to impact others. With WorldVision, I'm able to have a job which in my mind helps with my mission which is really sharing and reflecting my faith to others and having impact in the world in those areas that are disadvantaged, especially with vulnerable girls and boys."
